SE AK Rain

When I flew into Ketchken one late November (usually 1st stop if you're N bound on cruise), I asked a local shuttle driver about the weather in Ketchken and best time to visit. His response was "it starts raining on Jan 1 and stops raining on December 31". SE Alaska gets lot of rain all year round. Ketchken also has this funny little airport that sits on an island by itself. You have to take a 5 minute ferry from the airport to get in town. There is a beautiful little place called Whittier on Prince William Sound. I heard you have a 99% chance to be hit by rain there. I was extremely lucky to be there on a very sunny day.
