I am Chinese-American and don't have shen fen zheng. I would be happy if the travel agency can book airline tickets and hotel rooms for me together with other Chinese tourists. I think many overseas Chinese have this "shen fen zheng" problem as I do. Another case involving "shen fen zheng" is the purchase of apartments in China. I decide to buy an apartment in a major Chinese city. Even if I stay in my own apartment someday in the future, I may still have to register with the local security bureau within 24 hours of my arrival because I don't have "shen fen zheng". Do you think so?
