I agree. there are some hidden cost which will show up later. A sale man told me simple formula for timeshare: 1000 points≈$7. After a simple survey, It found out that the only trip to Hawaii is cheaper if using timeshare.

However, the benefit for timeshare is that the facility is equipped with full kitchen, and feels more like still in the family environment.
