When I was in Las vegas earlier this year, a well-known chain hotel (name forgotten) was advertising a promotional program: selling a two-bed room suite for $20,000 for a week's time share with about $700 maintenance fee per year. If you buy it, you can spend one week a year at any of its totel all over the world. It has also a hotel in Beijing and Shanghai. Of course you can let anyone stay under your name, or ask the hotel to rent it out.
Time Share business in China is just beginning, but full of risks. In America and Europe it's OK because of rigid government regulations....
