I cannot imagine how one can play in such temperature :(

A few years ago we spent a 100 years coldest X'mas in Toronto - will never forget the bitter coldness. Many houses had the pipes frozen and cracked - such would rarely happen in North because your pipes are installed inside the climate-controlled areas, not at the attics such as in Houston.
