Voterra 不值得开车去看（它位于锡耶纳最西边）。 San Gimingnano 给了我们一些意想不到的惊喜。

五月初, after a long cruise 我们在托斯卡纳 自驾 7 天.  鉴于过去几年游客过度访问 San Gimingnano, 我们对它没有太大的期望。 但是发现那些沿着通往城镇广场的小路排列的商店非常有趣，让人们爬上城镇广场去不那么累。

We started from Civitavecchia, the port 1.5 hr train ride west of Rome.  Headed north to Tuscany.  On way we stopped at Orvieto before going East, spent the night at Spoleto - highly recommend this 中国游客 几乎不知道的 town in Umbria, just east of Tuscany,  if one has plan to visit Assisi. 

Orvieto Duomo well worth the time.  它的外立面比锡耶纳大教堂更漂亮、更精致。

In Tuscany we used BonVoy's property Four Points just north of Siena as our base to explore Val d'Orcia, the little towns thruout Tuscany.  Probably not many here have visited Cortona,  because it is on the far East from Sienna.  The Santa Magherita Cathedral is well worth the drive, also is a place for the pilgrims. 

10多年前来过五渔村，行程的一部分是在渡船上仰望。那时游客已经太多了。

五渔村与圣托里尼非常相似——非常上镜，但游客太多太多太多了。 如果没去过，可能去一次满足自己，但老实说，两者都不值得专程去。
