Lost my rollerboard, both backpacks, Sony camcorder, Nikon camera, all the films/tapes taken so far, incl the whole Alaska landtrip :( My laptop - the one and only time I took a laptop because I tried to write journal!
I always carry our passports/credit cards in my handbag which never leaves me anywhere we go. That habit saved us from this mess.
The most inconvenient thing was losing LG's backpack where we put his daily medications. It was such as hassle to get them refilled in Vancouver, we wound up driving back to U.S. and had them filled at Walgreen at Bellingham. We also bought replacement clothings at WalMart/Target there.
But we did not stop our trip - carried out our plan to Canadian Rockies for 8 days with borrowed camera and warm clothes from our relatives. :)
