The First Nation People in Canada is still largely at the bottom of the socio-economic scale.

The Native Indians in U.S. now have a way to make big money - Gambling is legal in Indian Reservations - thus you see now virtually in every state where it has Indian Reservations, has casinos opened.

The Seminoles in Florida has just bought Hard Rock International after having a Hard Rock hotel at the Casino site - it is right between Ft.Lauderdale and Miami. They had a commercial at Superbowl Sunday night. Each Seminole now has $40K to 50K a year share of income from the Seminole operation. That is PER HEAD, Adult or Child.
