very good guides! how to get to Tortuguero from San Jose?

我们自驾游准备最后两天去加勒比海那边走走看看。可是从capital San Jose 开过去Limon就要4小时，听说路况很不好会有暴雨经常。一月初会到CR,不知自驾到Limon那里是否可行？
