@威伯埃航把1:45pm CAI-ASW move to 6:50pm! UA 今早电邮了new tickets

你要频繁 monitor 埃航的 bookings.

埃航真是非常不可靠的航司，加上國内航班是独市生意它经常随意更改。这个 CAI-ASW 1:45pm 的航班很早就 no longer shows up for sale. 然后给塞了一个30 min technical stop 在 LXR, 令我们迟到 30min. 現在竟然推迟到近 6:50pm 才飞！

事实上整个星期十月三十一号到十一月六号 1:45pm 的航班都不在。天晓得埃航搞什么鬼因为另外一个旅行社 Egypt Tailor Made 也提议訂 1:45pm 的航班。明显的是这个航班一直存在的。然后 suddenly 这个航班就没有了。連 replace 的 6:50pm 也没有show up. 現在 CAI-ASW 早上五点多六点多两班之后就一直到七点半才有。这个完全不合常理，尤其这个是只有一小时二十五分钟的 shuttle flight, 之前一天有六班以上的。

現在我们要考虑的是要不要取消这个票。在埃航上有早上五点和六点出发的航班。（里程票早就沒有了）还有晚上 7:30 and 8:30 的航班也在售。但是这么早到 Aswan 一整天好像没有什么意思。又不夠早去 Abu Simbel. 而且太累 - 这么早起床早点也难办亦吃不下。然后再坐三小时長途車看两个钟头景点全是 on foot, 再三小时長途車回阿斯旺，太折磨了。我覚得会体力不支。

只是為了保险起見我还是上 Marriott 订了連着 CAI 的 Le Meridien. 如果我们決定飞那个 6:15 am 的航班 we better stay at Le Meridien the night before.

之前我說用里程票比買票灵活，現在就是这个情况了。買票的話改签或退票跟埃航交涉都是很扯皮的事。即使那个是 flexible fare. Domestic 的好像全是flexible fares. 所以取消退票应该可以在网上申请然后等…。在 TripAdvisor 和 Flyertalk 上的 data points 退票还款是要近六个月。

Misr 的条款里写得很清楚如果他们 act as agent 例如埃航的机票改签增加的 fare or 取消需付的手績费 they will not be responsible. 更大的 annoyance 是 as the passenger I cannot directly sort this out with the airline, must go thru the agent. (这个放全世界都是一様的，除非直接訂所有東西都 go thru whoever you use to book).

UA 里程票就算是國际航班在出发前 31 天之前即使是基本会員都是完全免费。所以我可以取消然后再買别的航班，没有任何損失里程马上回 Account. 费用大概一个星期回信用卡上。

我把能見到的 Options 提供给 Misr rep 问一下他的想法。

Our options would be -

1) Keep this current booking of MS 84 06:50pm departure from Cairo and 8:15pm arrival at Aswan - essentially deleting the late afternoon / evening sightseeing.

But with Egypt Air's tingling of MS 84 departure time, I am afraid eventually this flight would be canceled for good and then we would be dumped to the later MS 86 departure from Cairo at 19:30pm, arrival at Aswan at 20:55pm.

If we take such late flight we might as well to leave the day before on Nov 2 instead.

2) Buy a ticket from Egypt Air for same Nov 3 departure on MS 82 from Cairo at 06:15am and arrival at Aswan at 07:40am.

3) Buy a ticket from Egypt Air for Nov 2 departure on MS 86 from Cairo at 19:30pm and arrival at Aswan at 20:55pm.

另一方面我再看了一遍 Aswan 第一天的观光，发现即使是原本的航班也沒可能看那个 Nubian museum 的因为人家 5pm 关门。

剩下的节目是坐 Felucca sail around Kitchener island 上岛看植物公园 and then Aga khan 的 mausoleum. 这些都沒有什么意思。完全可以 Skip.

如果我们飞 6:50 versus 1:45, 我们多了5个小时在开罗。这樣可以把前一天开罗 sightseeing 的 activities spread out 一下分成一天半來做。把那个 Aswan 取消了的 tour costs 放在 Cairo 用。

所以我们現在是傾向保持 UA 的这个票，看 Misr rep 星期天/ 星期一的回答。然后提出增加开罗半天 to replace 阿斯旺半天的做法。
