No. Collition covers your own car, in this case,

the rental car.

Pull out your insurance policy you will see the Liability items AND body injury items.

The liability items usually separate into Property damage of your own and others.

Ditto for the injury items as well.

Often you would also, and should, have the uninsured motorist coverage - that is for your ownself - in the case you were hit by another car whose driver did not have insurance or underinsured. You receive compensation from your own insurance company but you pay for it (the prem).
