I read the old post(the one you met with mengxu) and got the answers to my questions. i am very sorry to ask you second time, it is just because when you answered my questions, i didn't very understand at that time.

this christmas, i stayed at home and read many photography books, and start to have some concepts. so i read the old post attachments again, and find your clear answer. my camera do not have abilities like yours. when i zoom in, the aperture value changes automatically. even though some of my pictures do show some kind of background blur, it still have limitations, or not what i expected.

i doult that digital camera can do "depth of field". zoom lens is very convenient, but not very accurate or sharp sometimes. but since you have lots of experience, you are still good on compact camera. very amazing! haha...
