The FRESH Florida Stone Crab Claw is extremely tasty and extremely expensive.

If the Stone Crab you had costed you less than $30/lb, then you did not have the REAL THING. :)

The only way to have the real thing a little bit less expensive, is at the Keys - Islamorada comes to mind.

Otherwise, you have to go to very high class restaurant to get it.

BTW, I dont see taking the claw is cruel - the crab keeps its life - versus other ways of eating them, the crab lost its life.
