In theory, late August is better but you never know.

Like we thought early Aug should be prime time, but we did not get to see Mt.Denali at all. Weather was just OK, cloudy with little drizzle, never full sunshine.

Though we got to see lots of wildlife in the park because animals usually come out in cloudy/rainy weather and avoid the hot sun.
