Ah Shan, you are too bias towards cruises...

you dont even know how much you miss by taking that point of view.

Cruiseship passengers - while some of them dont care too much for environments - majority of them do. On top of that, they help local economy far far more than backpackers because the cruiseship passengers have money to spend - by souvenirs, eat at local restaurants, take local tours.... all these activities HELP the very poor caribbean islands.
