when somebody mentions Toronto, this is the line I always say, and to be surprised, many Americans have the similar feelings as mine.
i still remember that, at one Tim Hortons in downtown Toronto, near my school, there was always a homeless-look like man, summer or winter, standing at the door. With a cup of a coffee always at hand, he would open the door for everyone in and out, and gave you a big smile: "good morning!" Many customers would told the cashier to pay in advance for his future coffee and food, without even told him. A couple of times, I bought him a lunch as well (good deed indeed spreads).
Many great memories there.
