雪天的故事

昨天下班时, 地上已是两寸的雪, 一深一浅地登上bus, 25分钟的车程开了两个多小时还没到家, 我在bus上已经晃了好几个梦, 醒来时就想output, 剩下1.5 miles就到家了, 谁知metro bus 撞上了 school bus, accident everywhere, 警车声不断… 雪景虽美, 无心欣赏.

为了尽块解决output 问题, 我跳下了车, 几个月前走10 miles 没问题, 这虽为雪地的1.5 miles 也没问题. 于是在雪地上无师自通地花样溜冰起来. 站在雪上等红碌灯, 在重力下雪化成了冰, 整个人滑了出去, 一辆车差点辗我过去.

到家后,看着镜子里半紫半苍的脸, 奋力挤出一个笑容, “life is very beautiful” 话音未落问铃响起, 站在眼前的朋友, 两手已冻成凤爪, 表情呆滞. 二活没说就送她去洗热水澡, 车子失灵, 她在雪地上走了一个多小时.

第二天早晨, 路上的雪变成冰, 我小心翼翼, 一顶一摇地在ice上走, 多次又要滑倒, 活象个丑小鸭, 心里悲凉地对自已说, “真是个loser呵!” 到了公司, 心虚地写email 给老板: “Bus or I didn’t learn how to walk fast on ice, so I am late and will stay late to finish all the work. Sorry!” 这时, team lead 走过来, 两眼钻石般亮晶晶, “Glad you are here, many people could not make it.” 我心缓一下, 就看到老板从家里给我的email reply, “Thanks for coming. I appreciate it. Be safe!” 仅有的几个同事都在一起彼此赞扬. 我一下子从地狱到了天堂, 从丑小鸭变成了白天鹅, 从loser 变成了winner, 那感觉真是妙不可言.事情做完后, 老板就提前叫我们回家了, 那些不来的同事, 扣vacation 或工资.

雪天里的故事给我两个启发:
1. loser 或 winner, 不要judge 太早, 只有上帝知道what’s going on.
2. 宁可做个脚踏实地的 “loser”, 也不要做个空洞浮澡的 “winner”


很喜欢这次的活动, 先占一个, 有空再上. 原来不需要出门旅游, 也有很多故事的.
