You are talking about an external Framing Backpack?

Internal framing backpack can't be treated in the same way. You can wrap up the tent or the sleeping bag to the sleeping bag compartment at the bottom, and strap the tent poles at the side of your bag.

However, for a night or two out in the wild, I guess what Mengxu really wants is a backpack large enough to carry all her necessaries and leave the tent and sleeping bag in her car booth.

If that is the case, then 30L day pack is way enough.
