beautiful. how many buds yours had?

A friend in Australia have 2 plants - last year she emailed me some pix I could not believe - the bigger plant bloomed for 3 nights, a total of 85, yes, 85 flowers! The smaller one had a total of 53.

Needless to say, my jaw dropped when I saw the pix. The size of the bloom was as big as her face. They are very mature plants and in seemingly small pots. May be they like being root-bound?
