here's a few pointers: 1) shutter speed of 1.5-2 sec
2) tripod; 3) shutter release cable; (2 and 3 are to minimize vibration; if your camera has mirror lock-up, use it)) 4) depending on the lowest ISO on your camera and the light density of the setting, you may have to use neutral density filters to bring down the shutter speed.
Personally I feel these pictures are over-done. But that's just me.
