记得西雅图市中有个很有名的市场，Pikes Place Market，最有名的是一家鱼店，前台伙计根据顾客要买什么而遍成歌唱，后面负责出货的伙计合唱，然后把鱼扔出来。他们每天都卖很多salmon，用冰冰起来运往美国各地，当然价格也很可观。美东比较有名的salmon是Copper River Salmon，稍次的是阿拉斯加salmon，不知是哪种。智利甚至还有人工饲养的，都用颜料染红色，比较便宜。
