Haha, Fairmont bought CN hotel chain in 1988.

To be fair, Fairmont is the high end hotel chain - they dont have anything that is not high end (unlike Marriott, Hilton, Starwood...). I believe only Canada's Four Seasons chain is like Fairmont chain, only high end resorts and hotels.
