Doesn't snow in Seattle metro but Weather less predictable

do not recommend visiting in winter, since many national parks and scenic areas in the vicinity will covered under snow and driving to Mt Rainier, Mt Baker, Olympic NP, ect could be difficult.

Winter is rainier in Seattle. Snow is usually 1 hour away in the mountains while the city gets the rain.
