re: Iliketraveling, it's the shafer trail. You don't have to have a 4x4 if you go up the canyon. A high ground clearance vehicle is fine. Also make sure to visit the Dead Horse state part. Even if you only have an extra half an hour. Go there at either sunrise or sunset.
