CA, esp in Bay Area and SoCal, still much more expensive.
2000sqft for 800-900K? no way in Bay Area.
My poor brother's tiny house of 1375sqft, backup to a major freeway, in Mountainview, is worth 750K at least, judging from the sales in his small subdivision, and those sold at such prices were 3-storey townhomes only. Single-family costs at least 10% to 15% more.
My friend's old and tiny house (just over 1000sqft, and is 15years old at least) at Los Altos, is at 900K. Of course, it was 1.2 million back in 1999-2000 during the tech bubble!
no matter how high housing is in Toronto or Vancouver,
