If not, I suggest you have it done and find out if you have normal red blood cell count and normal ratio, or you are like me, have small red blood cells, and the ratio is below normal (though I have high red blood cell counts - I suppose the body compensate the size by increasing the quantity).
It is better to know your body condition, not just from the look, or feel, but the actual physiology of it, then you would know whether you would prone to altitude sickness or not. I were you, I would want to find out beforehand, then try my luck at location.
