I totally agree with your concerns, but I DO believe this Mom didn't do these things intentionally; there is no such Mom who wants to, who likes to risk her kid's life.... she just need some expericence/advice, she may not travel as much as you/me; she may have less sense than us, etc.. so don't be too hard on her, just give her some friendly suggestions, I think she will do better.
