Lived in Leiden for 3yr, Cambridge 3yr, St Andrews 5yr

and I know what I am talking about. Don't know your connection to StA is, but St Andrews is an absolute dump. There is not even a cinema in the town, no decent bookshops either. Can you imagine the university bookshop closes during the holidays?
