If you love cartoons, you'll love Brussels. The city has more than 50 (and growing) cartoon murals throughout the inner city of Brussels, as well as the neighborhoods of Laeken and Auderghem. While we were in Brussels, we either ran into or actively looked for nearby cartoon murals (once you find a mural, there is a plaque on the wall showing where the nearby murals are). Here are the many cartoon murals and sculptures we saw in Brussels.
1. A Horse, dressed as a zebra, drinking coffee at Brussels south train station.
2. "Tintin in America" at Brussels south train station.
3. "Tintin" on the way from the Grand Place to Manneken Pis.
4. This one is 30 yards away from Manneken Pis.
5. This one and the one below are next to each other.

7. I am not sure this is one of the official cartoon murals. It is close to the mural above.

10. I think we saw this one while walking down Boulevard Anspach looking for a place to eat.
11. This one is just west of Boulevard Anspach.
12. "La Cycliste", a sculpture outside Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert.
13. A smurf outside Horta Gallery in Brussels Central Station. The reason why it is in white stone and not in its usual blue colour is: “The statue will be visible whether you see it in the sun, in the rain or at night”. Inside the gallery there is a whole store dedicated to Smurf.

19. This one was inside a fenced area (a playground for a school or something). We had to stick our camera through the fence to take the picture.
20. We saw this one by accident while walking towards the Palace of Justice building (in the distance), so we followed the plaque on the wall to find a bunch more nearby.

23. "Le Chat" (French for "the cat") is not far from Brussels south train station.

25. When we found this one, the door on the left was open, and people were coming in and out of the building moving stuff. When they saw we were going to take a picture of the mural, they gestured us to halt, and closed the door for us so we got to see the whole thing.
26. This is another comic by Hergé (famous for "The Adventures of Tintin").
27. This one is very close to the Palace of Justice building (see those columns on the left?).
28. This one is close to the Grand Place. Somehow we missed it on the first day.
