平凡的花，草，水和鸟

After lunch at McDonald's, we took the kids to the trail by the bay.

It was a bit on the windy side, though the sun was shining brightly. Everything looked so beautiful under the sun - the coloful ice plant on one side of the trail, the waves coming and going on the other side of the trail, the water birds feeding in the distance..

While the kids went with Daddy racing ahead along the trail, I took out the camera and stopped to "smell the rose".

The purple ice plant on the side of the trail..

and the yellow...

In stark contrast to the colorful life on one side, the dried plant on the other side of the trail...

and beyond this is the bay, not of the dreaming Caribbean blue but nevertheless beautiful in its own way..

and the water birds in the distance...

The kids walking to see the bird..

Let me end this piece with the springy purple...
