I know the Oriental area in Seattle, where they have a good size Japanese store etc though some of the restaurants no longer serve good foods ...

We have lived in South Florida for almost 7 years now. So yes, even San Francisco is COLD for us in the months Dec to Mar. In fact it was very cold this late January when we were there - down to high 40's at night.

We found driving in Seattle is difficult too - we have never lost that many times when we have a detailed map - many streets are not layed out straight, and there are many one-way streets near downtown area. For the city itself, we are not particularly fond of. But we like WA.
