I'm usually too lazy/tired/eager to go home to take any free tickets. I don't pay for my tickets anyways. UA couple of years ago offered fly-3-get-one-free-tickets and I got one. Can't think of a place to go until the midnight when the ticket was going to expire.

One time Alaska Air offered free ticket anywhere they fly (that would include Mexico and Alaska the state).

I can time to be bumped if I want but I usually don't feel like being bumped. Airports are boring.
