not warm, in the 70's.

You would do a lot better to wear a wetsuit or a skin. At the least, wear a T-shirt. You lose body temperature a lot quicker in the water than on land.

Hawaii actually is not warm in winter time, but definitely warmer than Northwest for sure. It can also be rainy in winter.
