question about withdraw RMB in Chinese ATM

I have an account in Bank of America here. I heard I don't need pay any extra cost to make cash withdrawals from ATM of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, is it true? If so, I don't need bring travel checks back to China. I used this way last time. It costed some processing fee when I cashed them.

Is there any other way to avoid processing fee?
