At Heavenly, we stayed at a casino resort across, the room rate included lift tix

We then stayed at Granibakken for 2 days, the room rate included lift tix for any ski resorts of your choice

The last day we stayed at Reno, and purchased tix for Mt Rose in advance - i believe it was the last day for the resort so the tix price was about $39.

Better to fly to Reno and drive to Tahoe, no need for chains in April.

Plan to ski Tahoe next year in Feb, still liked Tahoe better than Vail, for the breathtaking views.For the love of Tahoe, i ended up buying a timeshare at Heavenly :>)
