Did you go to the Speedway? I would say that's the #1 attraction here, the museum is really good and you can take a bus to go around the famous track.
Children's museum is really good too, "Fireworks of Glass" sculpture is quite pretty to see in person.
Next I would recommed O'Reilly Raceway Park on labor day weekend. That is the U.S. Nationals event, I wrote a blog about it, very exciting to see.
