It takes 12 hours!! The terminal station is in downtown (Union Station), and previous station is Glendale. Unless you have someone to pick you up, it is not very convenient, because it arrives at night 9pm. There's no station in San Francisco either, and you will have to take a Amtrak bus to Oakland station.

I have a very detailed story about my trip, but I'm still revising it. Will finish it after the Puerto Rico story.
