Day trip suggestions

You can go south to Monterey. 17 miles drive is very scenic and will bring you pass some of the most famous golf courses in the world. There are some other nearby attractions as well like the town of Carmel.

Another nice day trip is to go north to Point Reyes. On the way, you can stop by the redwood forest in Muir Woods National Monument.
