Yeah, it's in a very narrow alley with the doorbell
barely visible. It costs approx. $10, later, we
realized that we've paid too much:-)
We went to a small village "Pocartanbo" 5 hr driving
from Cusco after the trekking in Machu Picchu. From there, it's another two-hour driving, we hired a taxi left 2am, pushed the car at least half dozen times along the way, had a sleepless night at the edge of Andes waiting/watching astonishing sunrise above the Amazon basin. That's a unforgettable moment. Unfortulately, my spanish is too bad, there were few tourists there.
Really envy your experience with the Paranhas. One of
things I have not accomplished yet. But, reading your Amazon trip about the sloth, monkeys, and macaws, brought a lot of good memory back from another trip I just took in Costa Rica a month ago.
Just to be fair, here is a link of the places I have travelled. There is only one journal though. It's my pleasure to know some travelmates like you. My email address is: dtang@yahoo.com.
Enjoy your trip in Puerto Rico!
