if you drive, from london to cambridge, to york, northumbland NP，cross the hadrian's wall and enter
scotland. edinburgh is a beautiful city. I do not know how much time you want to spend in scotland. many castles and loch. the landcape is stunning. back to england by M74/M6, stay a night in lake district. to the south of london, bath/stonehenge, stratford if you are into shakespeare. the white cliff of dover is a natual wonder. i did not visit there because we were running out of our time.

have fun! i'm jealous.
