住Hotel Zone和Playa Del Carmen是两种不同的感受，目标人群也不一样。

Hotel Zone的酒店选择多，餐饮的种类多（尽管价钱和美国看齐。当然你要想吃的便宜，从Hotel Zone去坎昆市中心也蛮方便的），出去玩的选择多且相对便宜些（因为竞争激烈的缘故）。
Hotel Zone的酒吧多，适合不带小孩的单身或couple。

在南面的Playa Del Carmen比Hotel Zone新，海滩会好些。多是全包型的大型度假村，适合family或就呆在那里不想到处跑的人。缺点是比较isolated，出行不租车的话不方便，出去玩可选择的代理比较少，价钱可能会贵些。

。给我的印象还不错。不知你碰到的是硬件上不合你的要求，还是服务方面需要有改进。
