2009西行散记--浮华世界Las Vegas

夜色中Las Vegas是完全不同的。在The Strip上，白天高达105度的燥热已经逝去，高楼大厦在夜间变得生机勃勃， 好像另一个世界。沉沉夜色隐去大部分突兀或丑陋的地方， 更有五颜六色的灯光魔法般照亮浮华的街市。

我们来过拉斯维加斯，上次住在LUXOR。这次拖家带口，在OFF-Strip的The Orleans住了一晚。EXPEDIA的好DEAL，9美元一晚，当然旅馆还加收5美元的服务费。房间不小，设施很新。楼下的餐馆和娱乐设施一应俱全。The Orleans有巴士抵达The Strip， 半小时一班。我们吃完晚饭，就搭车去The Strip。事实上，这是个错误。FLAMINGO附近在修路，东西方向只有一个Lane通行，每个红绿灯只有二十辆车通过。回去的班车误了大半小时。我应该把车停在Flamingo的车库里。还有舒适的鞋子很重要，逛一圈要消耗不少体力。随身要带好水。街市上人山人海，要看顾好贵重物品。

个人认为The Strip好的部分是Treasure Island到Bellagio附近。 有Mirage, the Fashion Show Mall, the Venetian, Treasure Island， Paris，Bellagio和Bally. 当然Luxor的夜景也很壮观。

Bellagio的喷泉让人流连忘返，是个难忘的经历， 我们一连看了3个不同的节目。2岁的小女被巨大的声势吓得躲到我身后， 捂住耳朵直喊不要。Treasure Island的海盗表演也很有特色。只是小儿不愿再步行，我们只好回去。 我在The Orleans的BlackJack的桌上，小赢了一把。

第二天我们在返回凤凰城之前，参观了威尼斯的活人雕像和美丽的运河。胡佛大坝堵车堵得厉害，安检浪费了至少大半小时。
