You can try Priceline.com. It also gives customer reviews of hotels. We covered Maui and Oahu in 7 days. The flights between two islands are very convenient. One tip is to book your flight to one island but leave from a different island. This way you can save some time which is worth more than money.

The general rule is not to jump hotels while traveling Hawaii. The rule applies except Hana, Maui. You will be exhausted to drive a round trip on that road in one day. Try to book a hotel at the end of the road. This is what we did. We reserved two hotels in Maui (Lahaina and Hana), one in Oahu (Waikiki). It turned out to be perfect trip.
