Lived in Manhattan, 42nd St. Travelled mainly by subway.
Almost everywhere is connected by subway. The daily pass is $7.5 (valid for 24hours)
Caught train to Boston. Ticket costs $70 something. It is cheaper if booked earlier. Of course, in China Town (Manhattan, not in Flushing) there is daily bus going to Boston for $15/person. Plenty people take this bargain. The bus looks ok from outside, but we didn’t have the opportunity to try it.
Boston is relatively small. You can basically walk to the most sites. No need to take the subway unless you go Harvard and MIT.
Trip to New York & Boston
