which part of Florida ?

Depends where you are from. FL is actually far cooler than NYC in summer time, for example.

Panhandle is not too hot.

Central Florida (Orlando) is VERY HOT.

South Florida - on both coasts are ok.

Coastal areas (both sides) while it may be in 90's during the day, once after sunset, temperature usually falls to 85 or so - that I think many parts of the country are hotter than FL in summer. (Las Vegas, Phoenix, even LA, for example)
