如果你的时间有限的话，可以省掉北岛不去。好像南岛的最南端，还有东海岸我就没有时间去，不过相对于冰川雪山而言，我宁肯省下时间多呆在Queenstown。

Tongariro Alpine Crossing pass over varied and spectacular volcanic

D5: Wellington– Picton – Nelson (110kms) - Greymouth
Take a city sightseeing tour and return car at Wellington ferry before 10am, take an interislander ferry (10:35am 1:35pm arrive $106 no vehicle for 2)cross Cook Strait to South Island Picton, then pick up other rental car at Picton at 2pm, take the scenic Queen Charlotte Drive along the South to Havelock, before crossing the Rai Saddle to Nelson.
Depart Nelson and drive cross the Hope Saddle to Kawatiri Junction before entering the Buller Gorge and following the Buller River to Westport. We view the amazing Pancake Rock formations at Punakaiki and then on to Greymouth, nestled on the banks of the Grey River.

An early start as follow Lake Wakatipu via Kingston arriving at Te Anau for morning tea break. From there enter Fiordland National Park. Travel through beech forest, passing majestic mountains. On through the Homer Tunnel in time to board catamaran for the Milford Sound cruise (12:20pm departure, booking needed). Will pass Mitre Peak, the highest mountain in the world to rise vertically from the sea. View the stirring and Bowen Falls as the cruise out to the Tasman Sea. Return to the pier then drive back to Queenstown.
