Crazy Horse Memorial is

actually much bigger, the left arm of final sculpture can fit Mt. Rushmore under it. The whole story started before we were born and probably won't finish in our time. It pays respect to the native Indians, their dreams and life styles.
The problem I can see is that it is just too big of a project for a family based foundation; without federal funding, it relies on the public support which is fluid.
If you are in the Black Hills area, while taking pictures with GW, AL, TR and TJ, also pay a visit to the Crazy Horse Memorial, I have been there a few times, to keep a dream alive.
After all, while pretty pictures can light up your eyes, it is the spirit of a story that touches your heart and soul which goes for a life time. Hope this help.
