carnival liberty cruise on christmas holiday

Hi, I am thinking to book a cruise trip from Carnival. The cruise is the Liberty. Anyone have any comments on this ship? If the compaints are too bad, I will try to book Princess instead. I know the price would be $300/person higher on a 7 day cruise.
