回复：拉森火山国家公园(Lassen Volcanic National Park)

I went hiking to the top of Lassen Peak 10 years ago in late June when the road into the park was just open.

From the parking lot up, I saw the thick snow still covered the trail, fortunately, I could see some of the mile posts(each separated every 0.1 mile distance).It is about 2+ miles total trail disctance.

The Lassen Peak is 10,457 feet (3,187 m), but about 2000 feet above the parking lot.
It took me about 5 hour r/t. It was more difficult on my way down, but I saw a skier easily skiing down hill and covered thousands of feet distance in a few minutes.

Very impressive.
