do you feel comfortable to fly from US to Eygpt

Will you go to Eygpt alone?( I mean, not with travel agency). If a girl visit Eygpt alone, do you think it too dangerous? E.g. if a girl asks a local man for the direction, will it be considered a break of local tradition?
